Bulldog Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Bulldog (otherwise known as "Bulldog Blocker", "Guardian Angel" and "Guardian Angel Blocker") collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the Bulldog service (“Service”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Service, which is a product of Ever Accountable. More information about Ever Accountable’s privacy practices outside of the Bulldog app is provided in the Ever Accountable Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

The information that Bulldog collects is grouped into two categories:

  • Personally-Identifiable Information (PII), which is data that identifies or that could be used to identify a User or the user's accountability partner. PII collected by Bulldog includes the User’s (including the Accountability Partner’s (AP)) name, email address, phone number, and push notification id.

  • Non-PII, which is data that, by itself, could not be used to identify a User.

Use and Retention of PII

Bulldog collects PII from users in very few, specific ways. In addition, Bulldog only collects PII from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information by using the Service or by explicitly providing us the data. Bulldog collects the following PII:

  • The name, email address, and phone number of a User that is using the Bulldog app. This information is needed in order to associate the User with their secure account, to contact the User regarding their account, and to assist the User in reaching their goals by offering additional helps or services. This information may be retained indefinately unless the user requests it to be deleted. To remove information from our Service, please contact the Ever Accountable support team at support@everaccountable.com.

  • A push notification id may be collected to send notifications about the status of the service on the User's device, or to inform the User about additional ways that Ever Accountable may help them to reach their goals. This id is unique to the specific installation and becomes meaningless as soon as Bulldog Blocker is uninstalled or reinstalled.

  • When a User activate’s Bulldog’s AP feature, the name and phone number of a User acting as an AP is collected. This information is needed so that we can contact APs and report on activity. APs receive an unlock code when a User requests to deactivate their Bulldog filter. This information may be retained indefinately. To immediately remove information from our Service, please contact the Ever Accountable support team at support@everaccountable.com.

Use and Retention of Non-PII

Bulldog may collect Non-PII associated with Users whenever they interact with the Service. Non-PII includes:

  • The type of device and technical information about Users’ means of connection to the Service, including but not limited to operating system and version, and performance of the Service on the User’s device. This information may be kept indefinately.

  • The results of surveys or questionaires that the User provides inside the app. This information may be kept indefinately.

  • Crash report data and other technical information about the way the app is running and problems in the app. We use this information to identify issues and fix the app. This information may be kept indefinately.

  • The way a User interacts with the Service, such as through button clicks, time spent using the Service, or percentage of Users who purchase subscriptions, etc. This information may be kept indefinately.
